ABOUT DOCRIS DESIGNS HAND-CRAFTED JEWELLERY

I started making jewellery after six and a half years of study for a doctorate in education studies. At that point it seemed like a good idea to try something completely different!

So, after learning a variety of jewellery making and silversmithing techniques, I opened my workshop in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria.

Now my hard-earned academic title of Dr Chris is used to give me my business name of Docris!

Now trading as Docris Designs, I am a member of the Association for Contemporary Jewellery and The PMC Guild.

My range of hand-crafted jewellery is produced using both new and recycled materials and a mix of traditional and modern techniques

I can make jewellery especially for you - either based on an existing design or by creating something new and unique!
